Swimming is Miller’s fifth studio album, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 during the summer. The record, revisits his very public breakup with Ariana Grande earlier in the year, re-entered the top 10 after his death. It will vie for the Grammy against Cardi B’s Invasion oOf Privacy, Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap, Pusha T’s Daytona and Travis Scott’s Astroworld.

Born Malcolm James McDonald, the Pittsburgh garnered instant fame with 2011’s Blue Slide Park, which became the first indie debut disc to top the Billboard chart since 1995. His four subsequent sets all made the national top 5.
