
EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of tonight’s Season 2 finale of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, MTV has ordered a third season of its hit reality series for premiere in 2019. The renewal comes on the heels of MTV logging a fifth consecutive quarter of primetime growth in persons 18-34 and 18-49, its best streak in seven years.
Ranking as one of the top unscripted series on cable among adults 18-49, Jersey Shore Family Vacation features original housemates Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio,” Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

It hails from from the original series’ creator/executive producer SallyAnn Salsano who executive produces Jersey Shore Family Vacation through her 495 Productions.
In tonight’s finale episode titled, “Ronnie Magro’s Series of Unfortunate Events,” the roommates take a stand against cancer by hosting a charity event in honor of Deena’s father as only the Jersey Shore cast can. Meanwhile, the spiral squad spend time debating the meaning of life while a mysterious call from Jen has Ronnie on edge.
To mark tonight’s Season 2 finale and announce the third season renewal, MTV ran an hour-long yule log video live on the Jersey Shore Facebook page and YouTube channel.
