Even in its off moments – some carpoolers are just funnier than others –  James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke can be an effective marketing tool, getting the word out about new songs, reviving fading hits and helping Corden himself tap into the latest musical buzz. Win-win. So makes sense that The Late Late Show host would use the bit to tap into what might be the last market segment holding out from the inescapable reach of Cardi B.

Seniors.

Last night’s Carpool Karaoke on CBS’ The The Late Late Show with James Corden started out routine enough – Corden and Cardi B drive around L.A., singing along to the rapper’s songs, talking about her stripping days, shouting out to pedestrians, chatting about the five vehicles the rapper owns but can not drive (a parking-lot driving lesson ensues).

As the two consider the age of Cardi’s typical audience, Corden stops by the Culver City Senior Center, where the duo “hijack” an afternoon dance class.

What followed was a nice spin on the usual Carpool bit, which come to think of it isn’t getting any younger itself. Check it out above.
