Sons of Anarchy alumna Katey Sagal and Freddie Stroma (UnReal) are set for recurring roles on Grand Hotel, ABC’s drama series executive produced by Eva Longoria.

Written by Brian Tanen based on a Spanish format, Grand Hotel is a soapy drama set against the backdrop of a Miami Beach hotel, centering on the family who owns the business, the staff who run it and the explosive secrets they hide under the perfect exterior.

Sagal will play Teresa, an investor in the hotel with mysterious intentions. She clashes with Santiago (Demian Bichir) and will stop at nothing to protect her investment. Sagal will appear in at least three episodes.

Stroma will portray Oliver, the associate manager of the Finn Hotel in Miami. Oliver is an old friend of Alicia’s from business school who now finds himself in competition for her business and maybe even her heart.

Sagal received four Golden Globe nominations for her role as Peg Bundy on Fox’s Married … With Children and went on to win the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Gemma Teller Morrow on Kurt Sutter’s Sons of Anarchy. She recently reprised her Gemma role on Sutter’s Mayans M.C. Sagal most recently can be seen recurring on Showtime’s Shameless. She’s repped by WME and B and B Management.

UnReal alum Stroma most recently starred as H.G. Wells in Kevin Williams’ ABC time-travel drama series Time After Time, and next will be seen on the big screen in romantic comedy STX feature Second Act alongside Jennifer Lopez and Vanessa Hudgens, which releases December 21. He’s repped by Gersh and Industry Entertainment.
