Netflix has picked up a second season of Emmy-nominated My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. The six-episode second season will premiere in 2019, the internet TV network said today.
Letterman’s first season featured an A-list guest lineup including President Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey and Howard Stern, among others. The show features Letterman and one guest in interviews that take place both inside and outside a studio setting. It also includes field segments featuring Letterman, whose Late Show run ended in 2015. In Netflix’s announcement, the streaming giant said Letterman returns to the host seat with My Next Guest, “combining humor, curiosity and in-depth conversations with extraordinary people.”
