Chris Distefano is expanding his relationship with Comedy Central, signing a comprehensive overall deal with exclusive on- and off-camera services, as well as a first look at content created/developed for any platform. The pact encompasses several projects already in development, including a new hour-long stand-up special, an animated series, an unscripted series, and the continuation of Comedy Central’s Friday night interstitial series Stupid Questions with Chris Distefano.
“Chris strikes the perfect balance of Brooklyn-born edge and nice-guy charm,” said Sarah Babineau and Jonas Larsen, EVPs and Co-Heads of Talent and Development, Comedy Central. “He’s razor-sharp, magnetic, and relatable — key to success on all platforms — so we couldn’t be more excited to enter into this deal with him.”

Distefano is also a popular guest on Comedy Central’s topical Friday-night stand-up series This Week at the Comedy Cellar, which airs at 11 PM ET/PT.
Premiere dates and details about projects in development under the terms of the overall deal will be announced at a later date.
