‘Teen Spirit’ Panel At Toronto: Elle Fanning, Max Minghella & More

Deadline kicked off its annual Toronto Film Festival panel series, Coffee With Creators, with Teen Spirit, the drama written and directed by Max Minghella. Elle Fanning stars as Violet, a teen who dreams of stardom as a way to escape her family and dreary life on the Isle Of Wight. She sets out to enter an American Idol–style internationally televised singing competition, something that will test her in every way.

Minghella and Fanning sat down for the discussion of the pic September 8 in Toronto along with co-stars Zlatko Buric and Clara Rugaard, director of photography Autumn Durald-Arkpaw and producer Fred Berger (La La Land).

The panel was the first of three in RBC & Nespresso’s Coffee With Creators series.
