UPDATE: The President has issued yet another video message, one apparently recorded earlier, judging from the Twitter timestamp. Is this the start of a new trend?
EARLIER: Fresh off two successful giant rallies in Las Vegas and Missouri – or perhaps smarting from the online uproar over his questioning of Christine Blasey Ford’s lack of a police report – President Donald Trump has been relatively quiet so far today on Twitter.
A lengthy video testament on the economy is, so far, the most significant contribution from the Commander-in-Tweet, who has usually logged about eight messages by this time. It may be that he’s saving it up for Saturday night, like so many folks. We’ll stay on it and report on any updates.
