
Pop culture and news talk show The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale has been extended for six additional shows by Netflix.
The half-hour topical talker takes an absurdist look at breaking news and trends, producing a distillation of everything people are talking about, plus the bizarre and ridiculous absurdities of the world.

All six episodes will bow July 15, joining the first season’s roster of celebrity guests, comedy sketches and video clips. McHale shared the news with fans in the episode that will appear this Sunday, featuring guest Seth Rogen.
Season 1’s celebrity in-studio and sketch guests included Kevin Hart, Kristen Bell, Drew Barrymore, Timothy Olyphant, Alison Brie, Seth Rogen, Gabriel Iglesias, Bellamy Young, Susan Kelechi Watson, Anna Faris, Eugenio Derbez, Billy Eichner and Paul Reiser.
The series is executive produced by McHale along with Paul Feig, KP Anderson, Jessie Henderson, Brad Stevens, and Boyd Vico. The show is filmed on location at Sunset Bronson Studios in Los Angeles and produced by Pygmy Wolf Productions, Free Period Productions, and Feigco Entertainment in association with Lionsgate Television.
