After extending its brand into the streaming home entertainment sector, movie ticket retailer Fandango is getting into the prop business and will be selling limited-edition replicas from all the majors’ popular pics and franchises, starting with their parent company Universal’s Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
Among the items on sale are a rare Jurassic World Indominus rex head replica for $24,999.99, an Isla Nublar map for $99.99, a Baby Velociraptor, a hatched dinosaur egg, and “Mr. DNA” animation cels. From Jurassic Park III, there’s an exterior Aviary Set Design Schematic, Exterior/Interior Hatching Lab Set Design Schematic, and Exterior Plane Wreckage Set Design Schematic.
The Fandango FanShop has been open for the past year, selling a melange of exclusive movie tchotchkes, collectibles, posters and fashion items. During this time, Fandango has leveraged its FanShop to reward ticket buyers with complimentary merchandise from Avengers: Infinity War, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Deadpool 2, Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Ready Player One, Incredibles 2 and others.
Universal’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens June 22. Advance tickets have yet to go on sale.
