Harrison was previously COO for Warner Bros’ Harry Potter franchise and oversaw the commercial expansion of JK Rowling’s brand including the prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. He will report to Ingenious Media CEO Neil Forster and will join the board. His hire comes as the company looks to ramp up its investment in four areas: media, infrastructure, real estate and education.
Ingenious is behind a number of current feature projects including Renee Zellweger’s Judy Garland biopic Judy, Gurinder Chadha’s Blinded By The Light and Baltasar Kormakur’s Shailene Woodley-fronted Adrift.
“Will brings over 20 years’ experience at world-class media businesses where he has helped to create and develop some of the industry’s best-known brands,” said Forster. “His commercial and operating experience will build on Ingenious’ deep media expertise and heritage to lead the expansion of our media activities.”
