Gaspar Noé is back in Cannes with his first French-language film since Irréversible.
The Love director is appearing in the Official Selection for the first time with Climax, a secretive film about dancers. You can watch the first trailer above.
The film is based around a group of young, street dancers who come together in the forest. Celebrating the end of their final group dance, they drink a big bowl of sangria and madness ensues.
Produced by Edouard Weil and Vincent Maraval with Benoit Debie as director of photography, it is co-produced by Arte France Cinema, Wild Bunch, Les Cinemas De La Zone, Artemis and Vice. Wild Bunch is selling internationally in Cannes.
