Katrina Lenk (The Band’s Visit) has booked a recurring role on the second season of CBS All Access drama series The Good Fight, from The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King. In Season 2, the Chicago murder rate is on the rise, and Diane (Christine Baranski), Lucca (Cush Jumbo), Maia (Rose Leslie) and the rest of the law firm find themselves under psychological assault when a client at another firm kills his lawyer for overcharging. Lenk will play Nafatali Amado, the fiancée of Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker). Lenk currently stars on Broadway in The Band’s Visit. She’s repped by Brady, Brannon and Rich Talent and Soffer/Namoff Entertainment.
Clipped alum Mike Castle has landed a series-regular role opposite Hina Abdullah in CBS’ multi-camera comedy pilot Pandas in New York from writer Ajay Sahgal (The Carmichael Show) and CBS TV Studios. Written by Sahgal and directed by Mark Cendrowski, Pandas in New York is about a family of Indian doctors with a successful group practice in New York City who embark on a project to arrange their youngest son’s life, unaware he’s made plans of his own. Castle will play Mike, a physician from rural Ohio who is married to Leela (Abdullah) and primarily is concerned with living to the age of a 120. Castle starred on the TBS comedy series Clipped and next will be seen as the lead in comedy feature Action #1 produced by Principato-Young Entertainment for Awesomeness Films. He’s repped by Principato-Young, Buchwald and attorney Erik Hyman.
