EXCLUSIVE: Teri Polo, who just wrapped Freeform’s The Fosters series after five seasons, and Niptuck alum Dylan Walsh are set to star in the indie drama Foreign Exchange, directed by Svetlana Cvetko.

Polo and Walsh will play Olivia and Peter, grieving parents who lost their daughter in a car accident. They welcome a foreign exchange student into their home but have trouble not treating her as the replacement for the daughter they lost.

Chris Sivertson penned the screenplay, which Kaila York, Nigel Thomas, and Rick Benattar are producing.

In addition to The Fosters, Polo is known for her role in the Meet the Parents trilogy. Walsh starred in CBS’ Unforgettable and can currently be seen in Life Sentence on the CW.

Both actors are repped by Gersh and manager Bob McGowan.
