
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences and ABC have just announced their key dates for the 91st Oscars taking place (as previously announced) on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019. The timeline outlines voting open and closing as well as when the Governor’s Awards and the Scientific and Technical Awards will be given out.
The 91st Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood and Highland Center in Hollywood, and will be televised live in the U.S. by ABC as well as in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
Here are key dates for the 2018 Awards Season:
Sunday, November 18: Governors Awards
Monday, January 7: Nominations voting opens
Monday, January 14: Nominations voting closes
Tuesday, January 22: Oscar Nominations Announced
Monday, February 4: Oscar Nominees Luncheon
Saturday, February 9: Scientific and Technical Awards
Tuesday, February 12: Finals voting opens
Tuesday, February 19: Finals voting closes
Sunday, February 24: 91st Oscar Telecast
