ABC’s American Idol (1.5 demo rating, 7.63 million viewers) ticked up 1/10th in the 18-49 demographic and 6% in overall audience on Monday, while NBC’s The Voice (1.9, 9.75M) held steady to top Monday night in total viewers and the key age bracket.
CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season wrapper (0.4, 1.43M) matched its prior seven episodes – and its series low – the demo, but rose to its most-watched episode since its February 12 winter return had clocked 1.5 million viewers.
And NBC’s Good Girls (1.0, 4.51M) popped at 10 PM to rank as the top Big 4 scripted show of the night in the demo, hitting a five-week high in overall audience and matching a five-week high in the demo.
NBC’s The Voice stayed 27% ahead of Idol in the demo, though Idol narrowed the gap.
ABC’s 10 PM drama The Crossing (0.8, 4.52M)) came down 1/10th in the demo from previous week’s premiere, and 16% in total viewers – acceptable Week 1-2 drops.
CBS’s Kevin Can Wait (0.9, 5.83M), Man with a Plan (0.9, 5.53M), and Superior Donuts (0.8, 4.88M) held previous week’s stats; Living Biblically (0.6, 3.86M) and Scorpion (0.7,5.42M) dipped.
NBC (1.6, 8.01) topped the night, followed by ABC (1.3, 6.59M) and CBS (0.8, 5.16M). Fox (0.4, 1.69M) finished fourth with repeats of Lucifer (0.4, 1.69M) and The Resident (0.3, 1.69) – edging out CW (0.3, 1.11M).
