Former CAA marketing execs Marshall Eskowitz and Carey Schwartz have announced their latest enterprise; Sunset Blvd, an entertainment marketing and consulting practice. The company, named as an ode to LA’s iconic street and cultural hub, has set forth an objective to utilize its expertise in entertainment to provide a new level of strategic advisory across partnerships, sponsorships, dealmaking and talent negotiation, as well as inspired thinking that delivers on the ambitions of its clients.
“Today’s marketing landscape demands a strategic and thoughtful approach for marketers to interact within the entertainment and talent communities,” Eskowitz and Schwartz said in announcing the new venture. “We understand how best to work with brands and talent and have spent our careers utilizing this expertise to influence culture and amplify marketing initiatives for brands.”
Eskowitz, who was previously at WME, joined CAA marketing seven years ago to oversee music strategy for brand clients such as Chipotle Mexican Grill, which he oversaw the music work associated with their animated short films, as well as 16 food and music festivals called Cultivate.
Schwartz spent ten years at CAA, starting his career in the motion picture department before joining the marketing group to advise and oversee entertainment strategy for brand clients like Coca-Cola.
