If you’re wondering what happens before the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney will hopefully answer your questions with the anime-inspired series Star Wars Resistance. The Mouse House has ordered the animated adventure series which will chronicle the events prior to Episode VII.
Production has already begun for Star Wars Resistance which will follow Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot recruited by the Resistance and tasked with a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. The animated series will feature new characters as well as everyone’s favorite rolling droid BB-8. There will also be some familiar voices in the cast including Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron and Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, who have both appeared in the recent Star Wars pics.
