John Mulaney, who spent six seasons writing for Saturday Night Live, will take the Studio 8H stage as host for the first time on April 14. The gig comes just a couple weeks before his Netflix comedy special, Kid Gorgeous at Radio City, makes its premiere on May 1.
Musical guest for Mulaney’s SNL episode will be Jack White, plugging his new studio album “Boarding House Reach.”
Mulaney’s week follows the previously announced Chadwick Boseman’s April 7 guest host stint (Cardi B is the musical guest). Boseman’s Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters April 27.
Mulaney won a writing Emmy in 2012 for SNL and has 11 nominations, including one for writing Netflix’s The Comeback Kid in 2016.
