Jee Young Han (Santa Clarita Diet) is set as a series regular opposite Lynn Collins and Wood Harris in ABC’s cop drama pilot The Mission (fka Safe Harbor). Written by Jason Richman and directed by Michael Offer, The Mission chronicles the colorful, complicated lives of cops on and off the beat as we follow them into harrowing, emotional and often humorous situations. It centers on Oriana “Ori” Cloverfield (Collins), who gave up a legal career to become a rookie cop — or so it seems. Jee will play Officer Annie Tang. Known as “Tanger” to her colleagues, Annie is a bit of a rebel spirit who dropped out of medical school to become a cop. Jee has recurred on Season 2 of Santa Clarita Diet and Comedy Bang! Bang! Her other TV credits include new dramas 9-1-1 and Station 19. She’s repped by Innovative Artists.
Kimia Behpoornia has booked a series-regular role opposite Natalie Morales and Neil Flynn in Abby’s, NBC multi-camera comedy pilot from Josh Malmuth, Mike Schur’s Fremulon, 3 Arts and Universal TV. Written by Malmuth and directed by Pam Fryman, Abby’s is set at an unlicensed bar in San Diego where the regulars enthusiastically enforce a unique set of rules that give them a sense of community and allow them to avoid the frustrating behavior found at other establishments. Behpoornia will play Rosie, the bar manager at Abby’s and a bit of a hothead. She prides herself on having memorized all the rules of the place. Behpoornia’s credits include Modern Family and Adam Ruins Everything. She also starred in Pop Rox, which was a finalist in the 2017 NBC Shorts Film Festival. Behpoornia is repped by Prestige Talent Agency and Rectangle Entertainment.
