Sawyer will play David Oumou, an earnest actor working an unglamorous day job, until a shocking murder brings him attention and makes him a breakout star. Walger will portray Lila, who represents the LA wing of a deadly drug cartel. In contrast to her Nevada counterparts, she is corporate and cleanly efficient, but no less deadly. When Lila pushes Amara (Lidia Porto) around, the conflict turns bloody.
The dark comedy from MGM Television is based in part on the 1990 Elmore Leonard bestseller and created for television by Davey Holmes (Shameless, In Treatment). In Season 2, Miles struggles to reconcile his ambitions as a filmmaker and a family man with his skill set as a career criminal. His progress in Hollywood is jeopardized when the washed-up producer (Romano) with whom he partnered in Season 1 agrees to wear a federal wire.
