UPDATED with more info: Martha Holdridge has stepped down as SAG-AFTRA’s chief human resources officer, a post she held since 2014, managing a workforce of more than 500 SAG-AFTRA employees nationwide.

“Working at the union has been one of the highlights of my career,” she told Deadline. “It’s been an honor to work alongside a team of staff that is truly committed to the members and the mission. Keep fighting the good fight SAG-AFTRA.”

She joined the SAG’s human resources department in 2002 as manager. After the 2012 merger with AFTRA, she was appointed executive director, human resources and administration, and was charged with integrating the two staffs and office operations.

Holdridge was one of the union’s highest-paid executives, earning $270,896 last year, according to SAG-AFTRA’s latest financial report filed with the U.S. Department of Labor.
