
Connie Nielsen (Wonder Woman) has been tapped for a key role opposite Chris Pine in One Day She’ll Darken, TNT’s limited drama series directed by Patty Jenkins.
Written by Sam Sheridan, One Day She’ll Darken tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.
Nielsen plays Corinna Hodel, a fading socialite beauty with a cigarette in a long black holder; an alcoholic who’s seen her family shattered, her fortunes tossed to the winds… Corinna finds herself a keeper of secrets, but none more fearsome than those she keeps from herself.
In addition to Pine, Eisley and Mays, Yul Vazquez, Justin Cornwell, Dylan Smith, Jay Paulson and Golden Brooks also star.
The role reunites Nielsen, who played Hippolyta in Wonder Woman, with WW helmer Jenkins and the film’s male lead Pine. Nielsen also plays Queen Hippolyta in Justice League and she recently wrapped production on the Danish series Liberty which will premiere in 2018.
Nielsen is repped by manager Estelle Lasher of Lasher Group, UTA and Lichter Grossman Nichols Adler & Feldman.
