Carl Franklin (House of Cards, Homeland) has been tapped to direct two episodes of TNT’s limited drama series One Day She’ll Darken. He’ll also executive produce alongside Patty Jenkins, Michael Sugar, Sam Sheridan and Chris Pine

Written by Sheridan, One Day She’ll Darken tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery and a suspect in the infamous 1947 “Black Dahlia” murder in Los Angeles.
Pine also stars as Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack reporter/paparazzo. Yul Vazquez, Justin Cornwell, Dylan Smith, Jay Paulson, Leland Orser and Golden Brooks co-star.
Franklin has been busy as a TV director, helming episodes this year of Ray Donovan, Ten Days in the Valley, The Leftover and 13 Reasons Why. He also has worked on such high-profile drama series as House of Cards, Homeland, The Affair, Vinyl and The Newsroom. He’ll be an EP for the entire One Day She’ll Darken series.
Franklin repped by Paradigm, Anonymous Content and Gang Tyre.
