The 75-minute special, produced by Studio Ramsay, the production company he set up in association with All3Media’s Objective Media Group, will also star celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo, who stars in series including Gino’s Italian Escape and owns a tranche of restaurants in the UK, and Fred Siriex, star of Channel 4 dating format First Dates.
The show will see the trio work against the clock to serve up an impressive banquet for members of the emergency services who risked their lives during tragic events across 2017. The group will be split into two teams to compete along with a number of celebrity guests. In addition to cooking up the feast, the presenters will head to France for an overnight stop to find the finest tipples and bring them back in time for the banquet.

Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Great Christmas Roast was by ITV’s Head of Factual Entertainment Sue Murphy and Factual Entertainment Commissioner Nicola Lloyd. It is exec produced by Ramsay, Daniella Berendsen and Chris Brogden, series edited by Genna Gibson and directed by Sam Campbell.
Ramsay said: “I’m looking forward to roasting the chestnuts out of Gino and giving him an absolute stuffing, during our Great Christmas Roast. It’s going to be a lot of fun, but the real prize will be the privilege of cooking a fantastic feast and serving up three stunning courses to some truly deserving diners, who I hope will have an amazing night during the final banquet.”
Lloyd added: “This promises to be a spectacular event on ITV. Gordon, Gino and Fred want to give something back to the people who really made a difference during some of the darkest moments of 2017. They all want the best, but the problem is they all think they know best. Expect fireworks, fantastic food and a fun filled feast to remember.”
