Gordon Ramsay’s hit ITV show Culinary Genius is heading to the U.S.
Twentieth Century Fox Television has inked a deal with Ramsay and his Studio Ramsay to syndicate a new U.S. version of the show that launched on ITV earlier this year. The series will get a three-week test run on Fox stations this summer airing Monday through Friday beginning August 7. Air time TBD.
Culinary Genius, a half-hour program adapted from the UK’s ITV version, begins with the lead chef offering a cooking task demonstration for five amateur home chefs who serve as the day’s contestants. Contestants compete to be named the culinary genius of the day. Ramsay executive produces, and his Studio Ramsay co-produces with All3Media.
