Veteran producer Warren Littlefield and his The Littlefield Company have signed a two-year first-look deal with Fox 21 Television Studios for projects targeting cable and other distribution platforms.

Littlefield is the executive producer of FX’s anthology series Fargo, for which he shared an Emmy and two PGA awards. The critically praised series, from MGM TV, is currently in production on Season 3 slated to air in the spring. In another collaboration with MGM TV, Littlefield also executive produces the upcoming series The Handmaids Tale, based on the classic Margaret Atwood novel, starring Elisabeth Moss for Hulu. The former NBC Entertainment president most recently had a first-look deal at Legendary TV. At Fox 21, he will be joined by his son, Graham Littlefield, Ann Johnson and Patty Mann.

“In our minds, Warren’s work on Fargo and The Handmaid’s Tale is as inspired as any producer’s out there,” said Fox 21 Television Studios President Bert Salke. “Between his incredible experience and his phenomenal taste in material and talent, he and his company are exactly the creative partners we look for at Fox 21. We’re thrilled to be working with him.”

Prior to his career as a producer, Littlefield did a 20-year stint at NBC, rising to entertainment president, where he oversaw such hit series as Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, Will & Grace, Mad About You, ER, Law & Order, and Homicide: Life on the Streets. He is repped by WME and attorney Tom Hoberman.
