Renee Olstead has been cast in Bachelor Lions, joining recently announced leads Mitchel Muso and James Maslow. Written and directed by Paul Bunch, the action comedy follows two young men who, like bachelor lions in the wild, live in the shadows just barely surviving. But through a stroke of luck, these young bachelor lions find each other and embark on comedic journey most people never will take. Olstead plays Evelyn Ross, a beautiful woman with an Ivy league intellect who works as an entertainment reporter. The pic is from River Rock Films. Jack Kavanaugh and R. Scott Reid are producing with Ivan Cohen and John Ryan Jr serving as exec producers. A 2017 theatrical release is planned for the indie as well as an episodic television show for which the film will serve as a prelude. Olstead, known for her roles in ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager and CBS’ Still Standing, is repped by Sweeney Entertainment, APA and Morris, Yorn.
