The Americans standout Alison Wright has landed a regular role in Ryan Murphy’s latest anthology series Feud for FX.
The eight-episode first installment tells the story of the rivalry between two of the greatest movie stars of all time — Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) and Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) — and how they came together in 1962 to collaborate on a picture each hoped would revive their careers. Wright will play Pauline, director Robert Aldrich’s (Alfred Molina) smart-as-a-whip, cool-as-a-cucumber assistant in charge of development.
Wright, known for her role as FBI secretary Martha Hanson on FX’s The Americans, starred alongside Kerry Washington and Wendell Pierce in HBO’s telefilm Confirmation and recently played a pivotal role in the Gavin O’Connor-Ben Affleck film The Accountant. She’ll next recur opposite Bryan Cranston in Amazon’s Sneaky Pete. Wright is repped by Innovative Artists and Smith Talent Management.
