TruTV has promoted veteran programming executives Angel Annussek and Lesley Goldman to the newly created roles of SVP Development and Original Programming. Both will be responsible for the continued development and production of the cable network’s shows, leading the editorial direction, execution and production of its programming slate and serving as key representatives of truTV. Both will continue to be based in New York and report to Marissa Ronca, EVP and head of programming for truTV.
Annussek joined truTV in September 2004 as an executive producer and was promoted to VP in 2011. In that role, she oversaw development and production for her team’s scripted and non-scripted comedy programming, including pilots, series and specials. She developed Adam Ruins Everything, The Carbonaro Effect and the upcoming series Jon Glaser Loves Gear, which bows October 26, and leads production for the network’s first scripted series Those Who Can’t and the David Spade prank show Fameless. She also developed and is leading production on the two upcoming scripted series: I’m Sorry and Bobcat Goldthwait’s Messed Up Stories.

Goldman joined truTV in January 2014 as Co-president of Original Programming, responsible for the development of new truTV programming, with creative oversight of pilots, series and specials. She is the network executive in charge of development for a number of original series including Hack My Life, Greatest Ever and You Can Do Better, as well as various projects and pilots in development. She is also leading production on truTV”s first feature documentary The Problem with Apu from comedian Hari Kondabolu. Prior to joining truTV, Goldman spent eight years at MTV as a producer, showrunner and development executive.
