NBC will air The 2016 SNL Election Special on the eve of Election Day – Monday, November 7 at 10 PM ET/PT.
The network promises the one-hour special will retrace the highlights of the current presidential campaign

through clips of recent SNL political sketches. That obviously will include repeats of Alec Baldwin’s critically acclaimed (except by Donald Trump) turn as Donald Trump on the show. But no word so whether that also means
footage from the historic the first ever SNL hosting by a GOP candidate who went on to become the party’s nominee, aka Actual Donald Trump.
The network did note SNL is delivering its most-watched season at this point in eight years – two presidential election cycles ago. The late night how is averaging 7.322 million viewers in national “most current” ratings from Nielsen, as well as a 2.19 rating in adults 18-49. SNL also is adding substantial viewership via time-shifting and video on demand, with the Oct. 1 season premiere growing by nearly 4M viewers overall from Live + Same Day to Live + 7.
