Isabelle Fuhrman is set to star in the supernatural thriller Down A Dark Hall. The film adaptation of 1974 YA novel by Lois Duncan is about a troubled teen with a haunted past who is committed to Blackwood, a mysterious school for gifted and disturbed girls. Rodrigo Cortes is directing the picture from a script by Michael Goldbach and Chris Sparling. Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment label will distribute the film., which is currently shooting in Barcelona. Wick Godfrey, Stephenie Meyer, Meghan Hibbett and Marty Bowen are producing. Isaac Klausner will executive produce alongside Nuria Valls. Fuhrman appeared in the first installment of The Hunger Games and was recently cast in the indie pic Shoplifters Of The World. She also recurs on Showtimes’ Masters Of Sex. Furhman is repped by CAA and Management 360.
'Mrs. Fletcher': Casey Wilson, Owen Teague, Jackson White & Jen Richards Cast In HBO Comedy Pilot
Owen Teague has landed a supporting role in Fox’s supernatural thriller The Empty Man, from writer/director David Prior. Based on Eisner Award-winner Cullen Bunn’s graphic novel from Boom! Studios, the pic follows an ex-cop who is plagued by the violent death of his wife and son. When he ventures to investigate the disappearance of a friend’s teenage daughter, he soon discovers a sinister presence around him that threatens to drive him to the brink of insanity. Teague will play Duncan, a confident, social 18 year-old who fears little. Ross Richie and Stephen Christy will produce. Teague’s film credits include the indie film Cell, opposite Samuel L. Jackson and John Cusack and New Line’s remake of IT. He is repped by APA, Principato-Young, and Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox & Light LLP.
