Donald Trump insisted tonight during the final Presidential debate that the allegations of women who have said he did in fact do those things of which he boasted to Billy Bush in that Access Hollywood tape have been “largely debunked.”
“I don’t know these people,” he said on the stage, claiming again it’s part of a conspiracy perpetrated by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
“Those store are all totally false. I don’t even apologize to my wife because I don’t do anything with these women,” adding, “It was fiction.”
Clinton, in turn, noted that the second presidential debate took place two days after he’d boasted about being so famous he could grope women with impunity, after which “a number of women said he did” what he had claimed to have done.
Since then, Clinton continued, Trump said he could “not possibly have done those things to those women because they were not attractive enough.”
“I did not say that,” Trump interrupted.
Clinton got more specific, noting that, of one of the women Trump has said, “Look at her, I do not think so.” About another of the women, Trump has said, “That would not be my first choice.” Another of the women he called “disgusting.”
“Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger,” Clinton continued. “He goes after their dignity, their self-worth, and I don’t think there is a woman anywhere who does not know what that feels like.”
“That’s whfo Donald is.”
Moderator Chris Wallace also had asked Clinton about Trump’s campaign charges that what her husband did to women was far worse. But with Trump so intent upon defending himself at the moment, he forgot to press her on that, as did Wallace.
