20th Century Fox has just pushed out its marketing materials for Gore Verbinski’s psychological horror film A Cure For Wellness which will be released to theaters next year on February 17. The film, which is a U.S.-Germany co-production, was written by Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road, The Clearing) and produced by Arnon Milchan, David Crockett and Verbinski.
The film stars Mia Goth, Dane DeHaan and Jason Isaacs in the story about a young executive that must retrieve his CEO from a wellness spa in the Swiss Alps only to find himself stricken with the same mysterious illness that keeps his boss and others there.
The production companies include Milchan’s Regency Enterprises and his New Regency Prods, Studio Babelsberg, Blind Wink Prods an TSG Entertainment. The creepy, but visually stunning trailer here, with the backdrop music a very sedated cover of “I Want to Be Sedated” originally performed by legendary American punk band The Ramones.
