As the AFM approaches, sales, production and finance outfit Bloom has named Kristen Figeroid to the post of President of International Sales & Distribution. Figeroid will report to Alex Walton and will oversee the international licensing and distribution of the Bloom slate.
The exec joins from Sierra/Affinity where she was EVP Sales & Distribution, handling such films as Charlize Theron-starrer Coldest City; Matthew McConaughey-starrer Gold and Damien Chazelle’s Whiplash.
Bloom’s upcoming projects include Scott Cooper’s Hostiles starring Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike; Martin Zandvliet’s The Outsider with Jared Leto; Federico D’ Alessandro’s Tau; Danny Strong’s Rebel In The Rye starring Nicholas Hoult; George Clooney’s Suburbicon with Matt Damon and Julianne Moore; and Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s Woodshock starring Kirsten Dunst.
The company also recently began selling Paul Weitz’s Bel Canto starring Julianne Moore, Ken Watanabe and Demián Bichir.
