ABC has put in development a single-camera comedy from Wet Hot American Summer series writer-producer Christina Lee and ABC Studios.
Written/executive produced by Lee, the untitled project centers on a thirtysomething woman who, after ending her long-term relationship and quitting her soul-sucking job, has to bridge the gap between the two sides of her friend group: those who are on the straight-and-narrow path of fulfilling age-appropriate expectations, and those who are still figuring things out.
Lee served as co-executive produced and co-wrote with creators Michael Showalter and David Wain Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp for Netflix and serves in the same capacity on the upcoming installment, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later.
She also is a co-executive producer on the upcoming TBS comedy series Search Party. The former Comedy Central executive previously was a consulting producer on the ABC comedy Super Fun Night. She is repped by WME and Principato-Young.
