British actor O-T Fagbenle has booked a series regular role opposite Elisabeth Moss in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale, the upcoming straight-to-series drama based on Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel. The series from MGM Television tells the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly part of the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism that treats women as property of the state. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Moss) is a Handmaid in the Commander’s household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate a devastated world. Fagbenle will play Luke, Offred’s (Moss) husband from the world before Gilead, and father to their daughter Hannah. Fagbenle was last seen starring in the titular role of The Interceptor for the BBC and can currently be seen on Harlan Coban’s The Five for Sky TV. He’s repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Curtis Brown Group in London.

Sofia Wylie (Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, So You Think You Can Dance) has joined the cast of Disney Channel series Andi Mack as a series regular. Created and executive-produced by Terri Minsky (Lizzie McGuire), Andi Mack centers on journey of self-discovery for a 13-year-old girl who finds herself questioning everything she’s ever known after her older sister returns home unexpectedly. Wylie will play Buffy, Andi’s (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) best friend and confidante. The series is slated for a 2017 premiere. Wylie is repped by The Osbrink Agency.
