Grey’s Anatomy alumna Sandra Oh and ballet star Misty Copeland will lend their voices as guest stars in separate episodes of PBS Kids animated preschool series Peg + Cat.
Oh will reprise her role as president of the United States in the October 4 episode, following the October 3 premiere of The Peg + Cat Mystery Hour hourlong special. Oh first played the role in the Peg + Cat Save the World movie that debuted on PBS Kids in March. In the new episode, Peg and Cat travel to Washington, D.C., to save the vice president, who is stuck atop a tall national monument.
American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Copeland will guest star in the October 19 episode. Peg and Cat plan to take the stage to dance with their idol, Copeland, if Cat can overcome one challenge – his tail.
Peg + Cat highlights the adventures of the fearless Peg and Cat as they use math and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and save the day.
The series is co-created and executive produced by Jennifer Oxley and Billy Aronson and produced by the Fred Rogers Company for PBS Kids.
