Netflix has released key art and a first-look teaser for new original series Haters Back Off, based on popular YouTube personality Colleen Ballinger’s oddball character Miranda Sings.
Haters Back Off delves into the oddball family life of Miranda Sings. An incredibly confident, totally untalented star on the rise,Sings continues to fail upward by the power of her belief that she was born famous, it’s just no one knows it yet.
The series stars Ballinger as Miranda Sings, Steve Little as Miranda’s overly confident and utterly misguided Uncle Jim, Angela Kinsey as Miranda’s mom, Bethany, and Erik Stocklin, as Miranda’s neighbor and best friend, Patrick.
Colleen Ballinger, Christopher Ballinger, Perry Rein, Gigi McCreery, Jeff Kwatinetz and Josh Barry serve as executive producers. Haters Back Off is produced by Brightlight Pictures.
The eight-episode series premieres globally on Netflix on October 14.
