Hell on Wheels alumna Jennifer Ferrin has booked a series regular role in Kevin Williamson’s new ABC time-travel drama Time After Time, set to premiere midseason.
Using the 1979 novel by Karl Alexander and subsequent movie as a starting point, Time After Time chronicles the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells (Freddie Stroma). Ferrin will play Brooke, a New York City doctor. After a flirtatious encounter with a stranger who turns out to be John Stevenson (aka Jack the Ripper), Brooke soon becomes the infamous serial killer’s next unwitting target. But when Brooke proves herself to be a perfect match for John both romantically and intellectually, she’ll cause the Ripper to question his murderous intentions.
Ferrin is coming off the fifth and final season of AMC’s hit series Hell on Wheels and also appeared on Cinemax’s The Knick. She most recently wrapped production on Steven Soderbergh’s Mosaic for HBO with Sharon Stone and Garrett Hedlund, and will appear on the upcoming USA series Falling Water.
Ferrin is repped by Gersh.
