With its portfolio growing to five series, Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers’ Shondaland is staffing up in a big way, going from one staff executive to four with the hire of Sara Fischer as Head of Production, Kristen Andersen as VP Marketing and Communications and Sandie Bailey as Director of Branding and Engagement. This is the first time the ABC Studios-based Shondaland has had in-house executives in these areas. The trio, all of whom have worked on Shondaland shows, join the company’s VP Development Alison Eakle.
“Each of these women has truly made a huge impact on the success of our shows over the last several years,” said Rhimes. “As Shondaland continues to expand, I could not be more excited to officially welcome them into the family, where I know they will continue to help invent and invest in our brand.”
