Roadside Attractions has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the Joel and Ben Smallbone film Priceless. Roadside will release the first film from the Grammy-winning Smallbones on October 14. The film inspired by true events, is a drama thriller about a man whose wife dies and loses custody of his little girl. Angry, desperate, and unable to hold down a steady job, he agrees to drive a box truck on a one-time trip cross country for cash, no questions asked. But when he discovers what he is delivering, he is faced with a life-changing choice.

The film, directed by Ben Smallbone, stars Joel Smallbone (part of the two-time Grammy Award-winning band, for King and Country), Bianca Santos (The Duff), Amber Midthunder (Longmire), Jim Parrack (Suicide Squad, True Blood) and David Koechner (Anchorman, The Goldbergs). Chris Dowling and Tyler Poelle scripted and Steve Barnett (300) produced. David Smallbone (the patriarch of the Smallbone family) and Luke Smallbone (the filmmaker’s brother) serve as executive producers, and Jacob ‘Cubbie’ Fink is a co-producer.

In addition, for King & Country’s Priceless single has quickly risen since its debut and currently is No. 1 on both the Billboard and CHR charts. Following a headline stent on the arena-filled Winter Jam Spectacular and a summer of packed festival dates, this fall, the band will embark on Priceless|The Tour in the fall of 2016, marking their largest headline tour to date.

The Australian duo won Billboard’s New Artists to Watch for 2012.
