Marking its expansion into international TV packaging, The Gersh Agency has named Darah Wagner Vice President, Global Television Media and Packaging.
In her new role, the former Electus International executive will be responsible for generating and packaging global television content across scripted, non-scripted, alternative and digital platforms by collaborating with broadcasters, content creators and producers worldwide. She will report to agency partner and Alternative and Digital Packaging Division head Todd Christopher.
Prior to joining Gersh, Wagner was Director of Global Acquisitions and Management Relations for Ben Silverman’s Electus International. During her tenure there, she was instrumental in acquiring and distributing key third party titles including Sundance Selects, IFC and Showtime’s documentary Murder In The Park, Fox’s Home Free, Dating Naked on VH1, Years of Living Dangerously on Showtime, and The David Blaine Specials library, among others.
Wagner began her career in the industry at CAA in Los Angeles in the Motion Picture Marketing department, later moving on to television and film management at Anonymous Content.
“As we continue to grow the agency, Darah is the perfect fit as she brings a great amount of experience to the table,” said Christopher. “We look forward to her joining our team as we expand our services into the international television marketplace. She is going to be one of our top assets.”
