Freeform has put in development Stuff, a single-camera comedy series from The C Word creator Darlene Hunt and producer Aaron Kaplan (Friends With Better Lives) of Kapital Entertainment, I have learned. Sony Pictures TV is the studio.
Written by Hunt, Stuff is about the family of women who own and run a consignment shop in Kentucky called Been There Wore That. Hunt executive produces with Kaplan.
Kaplan previously executive produced two series for Freeform and its predecessor ABC Family — drama Chasing Life and comedy Kevin From Work — and he also has the Nicki Minaj comedy pilot.
Hunt is repped by UTA and attorney Joel McKuin.
