Exits continue at Fox News. Latest to leave: SVP’s Brigette Boyle and Nikole King.
The moves were made by new leadership team Jack Abernethy and Bill Shine who, last week had been named co-Presidents of Fox News. A network rep described the latest two departures as “amicable” and “mutual,” adding that King’s job had been eliminated.
Boyle, who was SVP recruitment for FNC and Fox Business Network, and King, SVP business development and mobile at FNC, had been assistants to Fox News chairman/CEO Roger Ailes in their early days with the company.
The exiting began July 21 when Ailes resigned, as parent 21st Century Fox investigated a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against Ailes by former show host Gretchen Carlson. Ailes has denied the allegations. In the wake of his bow-out, Fox TV Stations CEO Abernethy and SEVP Shine were named co-prez, reporting directly to Rupert Murdoch, who had taken the chairman title on an interim basis when Ailes left.
