Connor Jessup will be back for the third season of American Crime. He’ll join Timothy Hutton, Felicity Huffman, Regina King, Lili Taylor and Richard Cabral in ABC;s critically praised series from John Ridley and Michael McDonald.
“Connor Jessup is one of the smartest and most talented young actors working today. John and I believe Connor’s performance will be even more emotionally shocking than last year as his character helps shed new light on the opiate addiction epidemic that is plaguing America,” said executive producer Michael McDonald.
In Season 3, American Crime will be set in North Carolina and deal with labor issues, economic divides and individual rights. The series is coming off a praised second season, and earned four Emmy noms last month, including Outstanding Lead Actress In A Limited Series Or Movie for both Huffman and Taylor.
