‘Bringing Up Bates’ & ‘Growing Up McGhee’ Renewed By UP

UP Network has renewed hit reality series Bringing Up Bates for a fifth season and Growing Up McGhee for a second season. UP has ordered 13 episodes for Bringing Up Bates and 10 episodes of Growing Up McGhee for premiere next year.

Both are solid ratings performers for the network. Bringing Up Bates season four to date is outperforming season three in all key demos, according to UP. Led by devoted father Gil and his loving wife Kelly Jo, the Bates do everything in bulk while staying true to their values and rules for the family. But lately, their simple rural lifestyle in Tennessee is in a flurry of transitions as the family continues to navigate life’s triumphs and challenges.

Growing Up McGhee season one reached over 5.7 million viewers and doubled the previous time-period average in women 25-54, according to the network and Nielsen. In Growing Up McGhee, Ro and Mia McGhee and their growing sextuplets balance life with school and their family business.
