With the second season of NBC’s Blindspot set to premiere September 14, the network has released a new trailer recapping the events of season one, touting the show’s move from Monday to Wednesday night, and giving a quick glimpse of things to come. Heavy on action, light on information, the promo does give the first glimpse of Emmy winner Archie Panjabi in her new role as the head of a secret division of the NSA which has been tracking the Jane Doe case. Panjabi’s second season recurring role is her first major gig since leaving The Good Wife in 2015, but not her last. She been busy since then, appearing in an episode of Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and has also lined up recurring gigs on the BBC series Shetland and ABC’s The Jury.

Blindspot focuses on a mysterious tattooed woman who has lost her memory and has no idea who she really is, only to discover, with the FBI’s help, that each of her tattoos is a clue to solving a crime. Sullivan Stapleton, Jaimie Alexander, Rob Brown, Audrey Esparza, Ashley Johnson, Ukweli Roach, and Marianne Jean-Baptiste star. The show was created by Martin Gero.
