The Comic-Con 2016 schedule keeps growing like it’s been exposed to gamma radiation, and so it is that Syfy and USA Network have unveiled their plans for this year’s edition of the annual geek confab. Both networks are headed to San Diego with big slates including screenings of upcoming shows as well as panel discussions of returning series, and SyFy offering daily live coverage of the event through Saturday, July 23.


Syfy Presents Live From Comic-Con will air Thursday, July 21 through Saturday July 23 at 8:00 PM on the network. Hosted by Will Arnett, the show will be broadcast live from San Diego’s Marriot Marquis for fans unable to attend Comic-Con.

The Expanse

The Expanse: July 23 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Indigo Ballroom, the cast and creators of the show assemble for a panel Discussion including a sneak peek of the upcoming new season of the show based on the bestselling book series by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. Moderated by Mythbusters‘ Adam Savage, cast members Thomas Jane, Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Cas Anvar, Frankie Adams and executive producers Naren Shankar and Mark Fergus will be in attendance.

The Magicians: July 23 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, also at the Indigo Ballroom, cast and creators will discuss the upcoming second season. Moderated by Lev Grossman, author of the series on which the show is based, cast members Jason Ralph, Stella Maeve, Olivia Taylor Dudley, Arjun Gupta, Hale Appleman, Summer Bishil, Jade Tailor and Rick Worthy, along with executive producers John McNamara and Sera Gamble will be in attendance.

Incorporated: from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the Indigo ballroom, Syfy is screening the pilot episode of the thriller series from Matt Damon, Ben Affleck & Jennifer Todd’s Pearl Street Films, CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions. The series is set to debut later this year.

USA Network

Falling Water: July 21 from 1:45 to 2:45 PM in room 6A, USA is screening the pilot episode for the new series from Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead) and Blake Masters (Brotherhood)


Colony: July 21 from 4:45 to 5:45 in room 6BCF, the cast and creators of the series will be on hand to preview the upcoming season. Retta (Parks and Recreation) moderates, with executive producers Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal, along with series stars Josh Holloway, Sarah Wayne Callies, Adrian Pasdar, Peter Jacobson and Tory Kittles attending.

Mr. Robot: July 21 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in room 6BCF, the show makes its Comic-Con debut with a Chris Hardwick-moderated discussion featuring stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin and Season 2 two newcomer Grace Gummer.
