Michael Giordano has been promoted to SVP Business Affairs at 20th Century Fox TV, from VP. In his new role, Giordano is responsible for negotiating and overseeing key business terms for development and production, above-the-line talent, program license, rights and format deals as well as writer/producer agreements for pilots and series produced by the company. The promotion was announced today by Howard Kurtzman, President of Business Affairs.


Giordano came to Fox from WME, where he served as a Business Affairs Executive in the agency’s Television Department, working closely with agents and clients from the Lit, Talent and Non-Scripted divisions. Previously Giordano was Director Business Affairs at CBS Entertainment, where he negotiated deals and agreements for scripted and alternative/reality projects on behalf of the CBS broadcast network as well as its sister studio CBS Paramount Network Television (now CBS Television Studios). He began his career as an Associate in the Los Angeles office of the international law firm Paul Hastings.
